I did not forget about the apps and the new VH. However, due to the sheer number that I received it was a much more difficult decision than normal. So I wanted to sit down and really go over everything to see who would potentially be the best fit. And after about 2 whole weeks, I think I have reached that decision.
Again, this was actually a really difficult decision to reach since every app sent to me was unique in its own way and was well thought out. However, the two (yes, two, not just one) who will be joining the Volunteer Helper team will be Pie and Matt (currently known as OC3rdPlace and will have his name forcefully changed).
The positions for the VH will be changing a little bit, but overall nothing will ultimately change.
Wolf has been with me the longest and is typically on the same thought process as myself. Not only this but he has often been referred as my #2 for a while. So he will officially be listed as the Assist Lead VH
Connor will take up a new title while still overseeing Community related issues. Which include the forums and clans still.
Pie and Matt will receive their official assignments in the near future once I get them fully setup.

Just a quick heads-up about whats to come in the next update.
Name change history! Soon you'll be able to see fellow players name history.

Name changes due to shrubs, will not be automatically added to this list.
As also stated in the image, if you feel a name shouldn't be on your list, and you have a genuine good reason to have it removed, you can either send in a ticket, or message a staff member directly to have it removed.
However staff will determine at their own discretion whether or not the reason provided is valid.
Additionally, if you can (read: want to), compile a list of previous names you have had, and want them added to this list, you should contact staff as well.

HQ movement for all gangs is on now.

Ok, so updates for Shadow, and some WL changes.
Shadow - It now has a root effect on all enemies of the square you land on. It's 5 seconds + 1 second for each level of Shadow; this means it is a minimum of 6 seconds, max of 10 seconds.
WLs - HQs can move across rivers. Actually still need to test this, but it should work. If the HQ is in a river, it counts as being in a Red Zone; you gain a lot less Points per hour tick. If your HQ is on a river as it melts, that square will remain frozen. When it moves along, that square would melt again. You can't deploy your HQs there though.
There were a few extra validations and bug fixes. The temperature bar as you already know is back. If you are for some reason on a blocked Square, you will be kicked out on a tick as though you were on a melting square. A few minor stuff here and there.
Also, for those who were not aware, the squares that melt/freeze now have a different color to make it more obvious.
