Sharing some notes on some QoL changes I did that should be checked into the game whenever Zorg has a moment. I pretty much just browsed through like 40 pages of the Suggestions forum looking for changes that could be quick/easy to do. Thanks to all those who suggestions I ended up using!
In addition to these, rollin340 also fixed urls for sidechat. Also, thanks to Lynx for fixing the offensive/defensive fight history bug.
In addition to that... there is ...something else that is coming once the above QoL changes go live. But I'll save details on that for another blog post once it's in

- Resetting stat points at Xen’s Dojo grants you a 30 minute buff, Dojo’s Receipt, that lets you continue resetting points for free during that time. (Credit to zvasbinder)
- Added a simple text-based movement timer to WL overview (at the bottom of the map); even if you misclick, you won’t be able to move accidentally in the overview until the timer’s up. (Credit to, I *think*, Joseph since he had asked for this forever ago)
- /glance now also shows you square control on the glanced square. (Credit to Joseph)
- Show player search results as soon as you land on the player fight/search page if you have the option “Open on arrival” enabled. (Credit to Larse - though this was only a part of his suggestion; couldn’t add the rest just yet).
- Streamlined the entry to the black market; you only have to talk to Sudo one time when being granted your first entry into the market. After that, clicking the black market will take you straight in. (Credit to UnicornBob).
- You can now use in-game tickets to submit a Legacy Affairs ticket (new category in the dropdown). I need to update the images on the Tickets page but you can get there by clicking the “Report a game bug” image and clicking the dropdown to change the category. (Fae had been asking for this forever so credit to her? )

There is a new public event available for the holidays! While the original 'A Very Merry Realm Raid' will still release as per schedule on December 21, this public event is now available as of today.
You will notice that the minimum level required to enter (and to complete the raid) is pretty low so as to allow some of our lower level players to also take part.
However, for those stronger and willing to cooperate... there is a little more. You just have to find it
Enjoy and, as always, let me know if there are any bugs! (I'm most easily reachable via Discord).

O Legacy, O Legacy,
How lovely is thy Wasteland?
O Legacy, O Legacy,
How lovely isn’t thy Expo?
It is December once again, and with it, come the Christmas perks!
1: You can now change into festive clothing through the Character Design tab.
2: Joe's Merchandise is offering holiday items once again.
3: Santa's Toy Factory has fired up once more, and players will gain 1,500c in addition to a bronze, silver, or gold ticket with every job worked.
4: The Advent Calendar is up! I've shaken things up this year so it should be exciting!
In other Holiday news,
1: Double Gains will be live from December 24-31.
2: The Christmas Raid will be live from December 21 to January 1.
3: I will be putting a contest up in the Main Forum, which offers 10 fantastic prizes. All you have to do is post!
Finally, there is some interest in running a Legacy Jack Box event. It will likely be set for December 26, and will be hosted in the (Unofficial) Legacy Discord!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
Matt

We’d like to expand, elaborate, and introduce more considerations to the previous blog.
Although done so under a different context, the Radiation Cannon was once again used in a manner that meets the interpretation of the Game Rules, specifically Rule 2.0, Farming/Funding Accounts: “You also are not allowed to help enemy gangs gain warfare points or territory in the wasteland. All participants in such activity will be punished”. This leads us to begin considering a few things that I’d like to share.
1 - The Radiation Cannon and its place in Gang Warfare - Where we have now encountered multiple uses of the Radiation Cannon that have fallen under grey areas of the rules, the question begs to be asked as to whether it should be included in the roster of available objectives for future Wasteland Map use. I am not saying it is going to be removed, however there will be discussion regarding its place.
2 - Game Rules - There are portions of the Game Rules, with an emphasis on Rule 2.0, that have not stood up to the test of time, and this has made it difficult to properly enforce. Voluntary Helpers, Legacy Affairs, and Zorg himself will be reviewing the games current rules and will attempt to clear as many grey areas as possible so that we can better enforce them.
3 - Dealing with Gang Concerns - This is more of a reminder than anything, but we please ask that if there is something regarding Gang Warfare that you’d like to have investigated, that you reach out to your directed Gang Rep as a starting point. That’s what they’re there for, and we ask that you use them for the resource that they are.
A coinciding Thread will be put up in the Main Forum to allow for some constructive discussion regarding the above. We value your opinions, stances, and expertise and ask that you kindly and calmly communicate any concerns or suggestions you have.
Thank you,
Matt
