To celebrate the new movie release of The Smurfs movie, we are going to hold a little event to mark the occassion. This Smurf Event will consist of 3 rounds, where points are obtained from each and then the person with the most points will be the winner!
I will announce what each round is one at a time, when the time comes.

Round One
On Thursday 1st September (at a random unknown time) I will change 5 players' character designs into smurfs. You must search Legacy's players to find the names of all five who are transformed into smurfs, and then PM me with the full list. Note: I will not accept any messages that do not contain all five names - so make sure you find them all before PM'ing me!

The first person to PM me the correct list will get 5 points, 2nd person will get 4 points, 3rd person will get 3 points, 4th person will get 2 points and the 5th person will get 1 point. Anyone who PM's me the correct list after this will not obtain any points - just a pat on the back.

These points will then be carried onto Round 2 which will begin not long after this round finishes! I shall make a blog explaining Round 2 when the time comes.

Today we have launched Steven's new hospital update. This update includes Focus Pills, Medical Crates and some new healing items. Some down time was required due to renaming 'First Aid Kits' to 'Small First Aid Kits'. You can see the changes in the Hospital at Sector 1 when it is open.

Medical Crates will give you 10 of the same randomly selected healing items for 80 credits, it is a gamble but it is also the only way you can get Morphine. Focus Pills will restore 100% of your focus for 300 warfare points, you can only use a focus pill once every 15 minutes. Attempting to use another will tell you how many seconds you must wait.

We have removed Cloud Flare from everything but our Wiki. The concept behind it was good but the execution at their end seemed quite poor, with their reverse proxy servers regularly giving out site unavailable messages when our website was available. It will take a few hours for the DNS update to propagate but once it does you will be directly connecting to Legacy again, which should stop any issues with errors.

We will continue to monitor services like Cloud Flare in case they are of use to us in the future, it did help loading times for people not in the United Kingdom... when it worked.

It's been a fun run, this Legacy stuff. It's had ups and downs, I've changed my mind a million times about what to do. I've started making at least 3 side projects, never to finish them. Whatever happens, it's been a great few years and I can't take credit for much of it. The community has held together through it all, pretty much independent of me for a long time now. I hope you've made friends and memories here that will last a life time.

So, I'm done making false promises and plans only to disappoint people. Now it's time to allow some new people to do that on my behalf. Today, for the first time in Legacy history, I welcome both Aldo and Macey to the development team. They will be sharing in my powers to create, fix, update and no doubt break Legacy and with their help maybe we can get off to a truly fresh start.

We have plans for change and they are awesome, but we won't be telling you about them until we have something to show you.
