A few things, this may be a long blog. Steven has returned so obviously he's working on multiple things already. Myself and a few others are staring to plan the Christmas Events already - gets earlier every year 
We're adding more to the chat functions soon - Zorg is still working out some kinks, we're working through the name change submissions already! If this pilot scheme works and is successful I have no problems rolling it out permanently and editing the name change pages to advise that the scheme exists. In mod news we're reviewing (Will doesn't know this yet) all forum rules, with a few to relax them so that forum activity can perk up. I've asked all mods in their forum on advice and suggestions.
And finally GWC is returning. More will be posted next week but to advise you - IT will be based off one gang rank ONLY and their personal warfare points will count. I hope this results in a bloodbath but I can only dream

Alright guys, time for a little Halloween update and info.
Shadress
Shadress has been wandering the Wastelands seeking strong opponents. I sort of touched on rewards for her, but I'll elaborate a little this time. Those who actually defeat her will receive the Shadress Banner as well as a few bonus items. I am also keeping track of those who really try to take her on but don't manage to get the final hit. Those guys will also get a couple of items. The items can include things such as Minimoo Chocolate, Minomoo Juice, Halloween Candy, and a couple other random goodies. Everything will be distributed after Halloween, when Shadress leaves and returns to the void.
Halloween Costume and Horror Story contest
To try and include everyone, I've decided to host a little costume and horror story competition in the Main Forum. Possible staff favor and the official competition banner up for grabs on that one. So put on your best outfit and tell us your best horror story. Bonus points if the costume goes with the story.

Name changes.... are changing! From the 30th of October if an account has the name that you require we may be able to help you out.
As long as the account is inactive, not famous and has not been a long standing account with us - we will look at removing the account and freeing up the name. The definitions of inactive, famous and long standing are by our definition so if you're turned away we will explain why.
Generally if the account is level 1-5 and has been offline for 300 days+ we have no issues, if it is ex-staff for example Deeg etc... We will refuse on the basis that it could be abused.
You can submit your requests via the ticket system and myself and accounts dept will review and begin to start the process, you WILL have to wait 30 days for the account to be deleted, unless I can set up a fast track.
