Just a quick update, going to try to post at least 1 blog per week. Spent most of this week training one of the new web developers in the office, meaning both Fallen Sword and Legacy are quite behind on updates. Good news is that he's picking it up quickly and should soon be taking a lot of tasks off my Fallen Sword list, meaning I can spend more time here!

Thanks to everyone who is helping test on the Development server right now, I'm running through the bugs as fast as I can. I'll be expanding the new combat system to handle hunting as well next week.
Most of the UI issues have been cleaned up. My main concern right now is the new combat equations and how they affect game balance / hit chances.

New combat is now live on the development server. It's quite buggy so will need lots of testing. I've already fixed decimal places in experience and the occasional granting of negative experience. I'm sure many more bugs will follow, message me on here or there if you find any. It doesn't currently work in hunting or warfare (properly).
Assuming nothing goes wrong the new combat system will be up on Dev tomorrow for testing. It will only include player vs player combat inside the hive at first, although adapting it for hunting should be pretty straight forward. Making it run through warfare without leaving the warfare page is a big job for another day.
It will take quite a bit of testing before I trust it enough to put it live on main, I hope you'll all agree it is a vast improvement over the old system once you see it though. It also uses new combat equations that increase hit chances and try to remove as much randomness as I dared remove.
