We have now implemented an awesome new way to get extra platinum. Under platinum currency you will find a new option called 'Platinum Rewards'. In this new page you'll find various offers and ways to earn Platinum and help support the game, some of them completely free!

We think this is a better system to advertisements across the site and hope many players will take advantage of it. Also the artists here at Hunted Cow Studios have been working on some new artwork for our game, a sample of which is displayed below.

Today we will be rolling out a major framework update. This update will remove the need to have the "?a=account&s=session" part of every URL. It is likely these changes will come with a few bugs so please report any you see. This game will now require cookies to function, all modern browsers have them enabled by default anyway.

This will also mean you will be able to give other players direct links to parts of the game, such as to a specific forum thread. Once these changes are done we will be enabling the use of UltimatePay a.k.a PayByCash as a payment method. Their service provides payment via a whole host of game cards and other means.

The merge in to Hunted Cow Studios has now begun, we will be adding new payment options for Platinum tomorrow. For now we have removed OneBip and dropped the prices of platinum via PayPal.

Tomorrow we will start to accept payments via Ultimate Pay and credit / debit cards outside of PayPal, along with some other options. Also our privacy policy and terms of service have been revised to meet those of our new owners!

So, this super secret stuff I've been involved in. Despite my best efforts Legacy has not been earning me enough money, as such I started seeking alternative employment. Through contact with Dan (zerash) I found some, at Hunted Cow Studios in Scotland as a full time web-developer. I start work there in 1 weeks time.

Hunted Cow Studios are responsible for the massively popular Fallen Sword, the upcoming 3D MMO Eldevin and some other projects. They will be purchasing Legacy Online from me and continue to run it with my involvement. Together we will be bringing you new systems and eventually a dramatic increase in the amount of new players we get.

This company has the resources to send hundreds of thousands of new players to our door and with 30 full time highly skilled employees, development should be increased. Obviously they do have other projects to work on right now, but the future is looking much brighter with their involvement.

This will mean that there will be significant changes to our staff and support systems and I will be posting about that as soon as decisions have been made. Staff have already been informed of upcoming changes that will likely see them returning to regular players with their old stats and some free gifts in thanks for their time spent.

The future of lesser voluntary positions is, as yet, uncertain. I understand this will upset some players, but I have to do what is best for Legacy at this point.
