We have removed Cloud Flare from everything but our Wiki. The concept behind it was good but the execution at their end seemed quite poor, with their reverse proxy servers regularly giving out site unavailable messages when our website was available. It will take a few hours for the DNS update to propagate but once it does you will be directly connecting to Legacy again, which should stop any issues with errors.

We will continue to monitor services like Cloud Flare in case they are of use to us in the future, it did help loading times for people not in the United Kingdom... when it worked.

It's been a fun run, this Legacy stuff. It's had ups and downs, I've changed my mind a million times about what to do. I've started making at least 3 side projects, never to finish them. Whatever happens, it's been a great few years and I can't take credit for much of it. The community has held together through it all, pretty much independent of me for a long time now. I hope you've made friends and memories here that will last a life time.

So, I'm done making false promises and plans only to disappoint people. Now it's time to allow some new people to do that on my behalf. Today, for the first time in Legacy history, I welcome both Aldo and Macey to the development team. They will be sharing in my powers to create, fix, update and no doubt break Legacy and with their help maybe we can get off to a truly fresh start.

We have plans for change and they are awesome, but we won't be telling you about them until we have something to show you.

Still finalizing the warfare achievements, so in the mean time we have some gold paint for use on items added to the platinum store. Once an item is painted it is permanently changed and will retain its new color even if traded. The name of the item will change to something like 'Gold Crystal Sword' as will its graphics.

We may add more colors in the future (speak to bcfcespley) along with paint remover. Also coming later today is a second smiley pack DMaster has been working on.

Ok, so I think warfare achievements won. I'll be working with Ross and bcfcespley to get those finished, I thought we were closer to being ready with them than we actually are so may take a little longer than planned. Keep an eye on bcfcespley's thread in the main forums if you want to have your say on how they will work!
