Some more information on my last blog, Fines will come into full effect from today’s merge onwards. Don't worry however the account fines will be only for the severe terms of Service Violations, Our aim is to take away credits/items they would've got from doing such activities. If you're a regular player these should not affect you negatively at all, they should help you positively with a "cash pot" for us to run more events and/or contests.

Clan Fines, yes -don't worry I will explain everything. Clans have been deemed inactive, yet a lot are still active however a few contain material that shouldn't be there. We have a flame forum for such activities! Our aim is to make clan leaders more responsible for the clans, its members and secure the clan bank (Due to clans putting everyone in a position to steal the bank). Leaders have a responsibility to moderate the forums and remove subjective material that should not have been posted.

A few/lot of you are going to be worried massive fines will be handed out, that will not be the case - if odd posts are spotted reminders will be given, warnings and depending on the amount of time a staff member has to spend cleaning your forums up - will depend on the punishment. You will be glad to know; our clan helpers have already cleaned and swept up all clans so they're all free of such material

These clans will come into full force today however don't expect to see any right away, again any credits gained from this will be added to the "pot".

Some questions:

- "What if our clan leader is inactive?" : Well a clan is aimed for a group of people, so if you submit a Leader Hand-Over request to our Clan Helpers we will look into it, old clans such as lets say "MeanStreet Mob" that has been around for years, will not be handed over since its leader is active etc..

- "What if we ignore this and use the forums how WE want?" : Well then this is why these fines are imposed, we don't want to shut clans down - We wan tto see players partake in clans. However if a clan is seen to use the forums as a "flame forum" then they will slowly be fined more and more.

- "They're my credits in my bank you have no right" : Actually if you donate credits to a clan, the credits then belong to a clan. If the clan shuts down, the credits should be deleted along with the clan.

- "I'm only a member?!" : You won’t be affected by any of this, these are just for Leaders and Asst. Leaders.

If you have any questions, please mail me - I will do my best to explain fully the question. Just remember guys, AH15 is soon - Read the Main Forum thread >> HERE <<

Yeah, MURDER MYSTERY! Still working on it, I think I've confused the person doing GFX for me I will make a wiki page details what I am going on about etc... Enough from me, cya laters!

Sorry for the delay, had to finish the Auction House system for Fallen Sword. But I'm back now, Legacy will be going down at 1pm EST (Server Time) / 6pm GMT. It will be down for a couple of hours while we implement the new merged account system (see my previous blog).

We'll also be posting about Legacy on various Hunted Cow channels, so hopefully we'll see a few new faces.

YES! Its that time again where for once, I bring a mixture of good news and possibly bad news if you seem to revolve around getting banned a lot.

For the Good News - I start with an apology. I do apologise for not doing a Murder Mystery sooner, the reasons for this start with the planning and connections and they end with I always wanted this event to stay... Rare. I have always disliked the werewolves thread as for the good amount of time they have been run back to back. Anyway, it is coming back and I will post more details of it SOON!

Finally the other good/bad news is the following: In the past Staff have fined players for major Terms of Service violations (Multiple accounts, Network trading etc..) however they slowly died and stop being enforced. Simply because it was a credit sink with nothing to do with them. I am however reinstating the fines from a certain date when the details are finalised and loopholes are closed. You may ask, why is this good news... WELL! As I stated there is nothing to do with them, as staff we have no reason to have them or use them. So we will delete a good percentage of them however, we will use a fair amount to run events and use as prizes, use more for new players and if all else fails run small prize lottos and/or reward them to clans for them to use for other reasons.

Have a nice day people!

Just wanted to give people a heads up on what's going to happen here soon. It will be quite a lengthy process that will require a bit of down time, but should go smoothly as we've done it on 2 other games already.

Firstly, our new Hunted Cow website is up at www.huntedcow.com. This entire process will be easier for you if you go make an account sooner rather than later.

I'll be putting some updates live later today, one includes the new tutorial. You'll be able to go to Account Options and click Reset Tutorials if you want to see what they're like for new players. They should give newbies a brief overview of our game that the guides can pick up and continue from.

Next I'll be breaking down the outfit bundles and some outfit items will be getting renamed. Nobody will lose any outfit items they have already purchased although some may stop being sold.

Once all this is done the game will be going down for a few hours down time, during this down time all current players will be awarded a new banner for being here before the account merge.

When the game comes back online the outer site will have a new Hunted Cow top bar, with login and create account options. The old login will be removed. You'll need to follow the links to create or login to your Hunted Cow account after which you'll arrive back here and be presented with the option to either create a Legacy account or merge an old Legacy account.

You'll want to select merge and login with your Legacy details (for the last time). After which you'll be logged in to your character as normal and nothing in your account will have changed. From then on you'll login with your Hunted Cow account to play Legacy.

No names are changing, your display name on Hunted Cow is in no way connected to your characters name here. If you're still concerned about how this will work you can go to Hunted Cow now and try out Cow Play or Solar Fleet which the process is already live on.

Finally, the reason we're doing this is so we can offer incentives in Hunted Cows other games to come and try out Legacy. So while it is not directly beneficial to you, the new players it attracts should hopefully be worth your time. Also the new HCS site is far more secure, uses HTTPS and encrypts your details in a more sophisticated way.
