An update has just gone live with some major content updates, including changes to weapon stats, new weapons and new crystals.

This blog will be fairly short because there's so much to this update that a blog post wasn't really enough - Food's created a thread in the Main Forum detailing most of the changes that have gone live.

Click this link to go to the thread right now.

Massive thanks to Food, Bob, Zach and the entire content team for their efforts in getting this change over the line. There are also still some surprises that haven't been fully announced, but I'll leave it up to you to discover what they are.

The Wiki update has gone live!

For those who haven't noticed yet, we've had a new Wiki up and running since Friday. I wanted to give it a few days without an announcement to see how it performed, and I'm ready to officially announce that the new Wiki is open for business.

For technical reasons, you'll need to go to your Account Options page and regenerate your Wiki password before you can login. Once you've done that, you can log in using your in-game username and the password displayed on the Account Options page.

Editing the Wiki is now easier than ever. We've installed the Visual Editor extension on the Wiki server, which is a "What You See Is What You Get" editor - that means that you have a graphical editor to design the page, instead of having to mess around with complex wiki code. This should make it much, much easier for you to edit pages and update information if you see that it's out of date or incorrect, so please chip in if you see anything that needs changing.

I'm also on the hunt for new Wiki SysOps. I'm not going to create a thread or hold an official application process, but if you're interested in becoming a SysOp, please get in touch and have a chat. Ideally you'd have experience maintaining a Wiki or similar experience before, but I will take prior Legacy Wiki activity as experience too.

This was a pretty significant update, so there likely will be pages that are broken, look wrong or have issues with formatting or styling or other issues. Please direct any issues you find directly to me if you don't feel confident or are unable to tackle the issue yourself.

I want to shout out Charlie and GAGANB, who have helped out a lot in this process and have made it much easier than it otherwise would have been.

Click here for a direct link to the Wiki login page.

Happy new year everyone!

Before anything else, the results for the last warfare round:

1. Blade of Dawn: 1,604,840 Points
2. Outcasts: 861,795 Points
3. The Chapter: 810,340 Points
4. Dark Flame: 324,150 Points

Congrats BoD, well done on your victory. You claim the Golden HQ for the next round!

Speaking of the next round... I hope you're all enjoying WTF Mode. As posted in the Wasteland and Raids forum, Option 3 won the last game vote to choose the next WL map. I've run the randomisation for the starting positions and they are as follows (from top left quadrant starting position rotating clockwise):

1. DF
2. OC
3. BoD
4. TC

The next map will start tonight, 1st January, at 8pm server time. If you need a refresher on which map we're playing, this is the map (Ignore HQ positions):

Sorry for the late notice, this time of year is a bit hectic as I'm sure you can understand. Anyway, see you tonight for the new map!

Good morning!

Bob's redrawn the Crystal Maul images for all versions of the Crystal Maul. So that's the regular Maul, and also the Phoenix Elite and Astral Paint variants. Head over to this thread to check out what's changed. These new images are live now. If you can't see them yet, make sure to clear your browser cache.

The Level 5 Scythe requirement for a Tier 2 Scythe has been reduced to Level 3 to bring the recipe into parity with the other Tier 2 equipment.

I've made changes to the Staff System so that VH can control more Wasteland map settings from within the game. Hopefully this allows greater flexibility around when map changes can happen in future rounds.

There are also a couple of bug fixes and some secret fun stuff included too.

This may or may not be the last blog from me before Christmas - we've been working hard on getting the Wiki updated this year. I hope to have something to announce on that soon, but I can't make any promises!
