Yesterday Legacy servers had a mishap with a few files and they "expired" meaning the game went down except the odd few systems like the staff system, wiki etc... I logged on 6 hours later and started the process of getting the game back online and notifying players.

Relating to the Main Forum thread I have now granted all staff access to Twitter and given them powers to leave a portal message however when the game goes fully down don't expect any notification unless it's a planned downtime.

Apologies to all players for yesterday, Zorg went into the HCS Office today to fix the problem so Legacy shouldn't randomly die again.

Today marks a milestone for the Administration side of Legacy, Hunted Cow Studios have now been placed in nearly all of our departments. Voluntary Helpers will still retain some of the departments and continue to work alongside HCS in the running of them.

I would like to now dedicate the rest of this blog to the people that have left my old team. They have been an awesome group of individuals that worked hard and often put Legacy ahead of other plans just to keep it running smoothly, all those Awesome Hours instead of revision. WTF Modes instead of Sleeping, Forum games instead of working.

I couldn't of dealt with half of the issues that arose this year without the help of them so we thank you for all your work, you guys will be missed, have fun playing!

After 75 minutes of action in Online Chat, our third and final round of the Smurf Event is at an end! With 45 points being obtained by participants, the leaderboard has changed and we have our top 3 winners.

Who would have thought, Ross' hidden talent was infact that he is a Smuf-Guru! .. or perhaps he's just good at smurfing the net

Note: Myself and Mohith felt that we should make the point system fairer, and so we changed it so that Rounds 1 and 2 were both worth 30% of the final result, and Round 3 was worth 40%

Just a short announcement, the date and time for the Smurf Event Round 3 has been set. It shall be held at 5pm Server Time (10pm GMT) on Friday 16th September!

I have just finished writing questions and can tell you that there are 45 points up for grabs! Who knows, perhaps someone who's currently on 0 points will overtake the point leaders and be crowned the winner, aka Guru Smurf!

Myself and Mohith both have a list of the questions and so we will both be hosting the quiz. Therefore if any unforeseen circumstance arrives and one of us can't make it, then the show can still go on.
