Flag results are in! After 2 hours (Probably more) of judging with Zorg, 45 entries, three cups of tea and... we are finally ready to release the results. This years entries where awesome to look at and some amazed us both. I would like to say thank-you to all that entered, making this competition the largest flag comp we have ever had on Legacy.

The Winners!

Just got back from a LAN party, been away for like 5 days. Getting back in to working on Legacy now, so expect lots of bug fixes and updates in the next few days. For those not in the Elders the next update will be the addition of casino achievements, followed shortly by the new attack system! Both will need extensive testing on Dev before going live.

Legacy Affairs is being reformed by the Elders and I just got done judging the Flag contest. Results for that will be up tomorrow!

Just a reminder that you have 4 days to finish off your flags and enter the competition. It currently stands at 33 entries totaling a pot of 3300 credits. Meaning first place winners get 660 credits each, second place get 165 credits each.

I took a quick glance at the thread in the main forum and I'm amazed at the entries yet horrified by the amount of time its going to take to judge them.

Good Luck!

So I've been looking at the vote results and it is pretty much a 50:50 split, not only in total but between votes from level 80 avatars and votes from non-avatars. Now I'm supposed to make a decision and yet have no more of an idea what would be best than you guys have.

The only conclusion I can draw is that the vote was inconclusive because both options represent extremes. Removing the level cap completely would not work anymore than leaving the level cap in place has. I'll start a thread in suggestions where you can post your suggested alternatives.

Right now the most solid idea I can see is some sort of prestige system, allowing players to level from 1 to 80 over and over if they wish. The hard part with that would be determining a reward that is good enough to make people want to do it, yet not so good as to make avatars feel as if they have to do it.
