Very eventful week for myself and it's going to get better! I've noticed our last photo contest was last year, so what better time to launch another! This is the time where you can let your creative juices flow and try impress us with the best photo you can take. It must contain your username and "legacy-game.net" somewhere in the image. I will put last years winners and a link to the wiki page below!

Check out the Main forum for more details, there will be a submit thread so you can submit your entries to us and a talk thread - just so we don't have to spend hours finding your entries. Prizes will be posted in the Main Forum as well as extra rules, however be warned I may be horrible at photo shop but Zorg isn't and makes it his goal to work out if an image is true or false so don't try your luck

Other Events that are coming up will be Newbie hour, Flag Contest, Halloween Hunt and maybe another follow up LegCon in November. More will be posted later closer to the time of these however but for now whip out your cameras and head to the Main Forum as entries close on the 1st July 2010!!

The smilies system has been reworked, smilies sorrounded by silly { and } brackets have been removed. All smilies that include words are now sorrounded by a single colon either side. I had to remove a couple of smilies like the 83 smiley, as that clearly wouldn't work in this new system.

Also the regex that replaces smilies in text has been improved and will now only inject smilies if the smiley in question does not have an alphanumeric character on either side of it. So you will not get a smiley in the middle of silly words like ExDeath anymore!

Few updates, basically things from the first LegCon we did that I added to my list of things to include in the system rebuild. Thought it would be better to include them ahead of time so I'm working on that now. Mind's Eye can finally filter individual gangs and Shadowing is now much cooler.

Shadowing now not only tells you where the last person to phase from your square went, it phases you straight to them (regardless of gang control of the target square). On top of that if you have Temporal Phasing you can shadow while cloaked with complete immunity to Ether Attunement and Astral Vision (i.e You will not be spotted entering nor will your target be aware of your attempts to shadow them). Also if you train Temporal Phasing you can phase while cloaked as before but this now also has immunity to Astral Vision.

Any problems with these abilities please report them to me, the new /who command responds to gang numbers, colors or acconyms.
