Just a small update to profiles today, real name, age / DOB and country are now pulled from your Hunted Cow profile. So if you want them visible in your profile you need to go set them in your Hunted Cow account and make them public. I've added player bios to fill the remaining space like Fallen Sword. Forum signature G-Code is enabled in them and you can include an image if you like.

Halloween will be finishing in a week or so, we also have some new outfit stuff coming from Steven soon I believe.

We have removed the Permanent Account unlock today as all accounts will now be permanent. If you had this unlock you will have received a 34,995 platinum refund and a banner. The platinum store is looking quite empty now with various bundles being removed as well. I'll see if I can get some new things added soon.

Shrubbed accounts will still be subject to deletion as normal.

It is currently Hunted Cows intention to remove Permanent Accounts from Legacy. With our new Hunted Cow account system and the way it works it draws light on the fact that we are currently the only one of the HCS games to purge old accounts.

Instead the system will now auto-kick members from gangs once they reach the point where their account would have been deleted. Members of gangs who achieve a certain gang rank (as yet undecided, post in comments) will be immune to auto-kick.

Players who have purchased Permanent Account status for platinum will be refunded 34,995 unbound platinum. With a current total of 14,032,995 platinum about to be refunded this is no small move but I think it's the right one.

The merge is now complete, if a little rough around the edges. You'll be glad to know that my login script once again checks if players are banned before logging them in and your Legacy character will now show on your Hunted Cow account page.

I've made an Announcement post on the Hunted Cow forums, once I've cleaned up a bit we'll be telling more people about it. Old player banners are coming your way next, the wiki will be fixed after that and I should be adding a Legacy forum to Hunted Cow just for consistency. Use if you wish, we're not removing the forums here though.
