We're changing how special event outfits work, well basically just Halloween and Christmas. These outfits will become active (selectable) during the event and will be hidden the rest of the year as they are now. However, if you equip a special event outfit item it will not be automatically removed at the end of the event.

Meaning you can keep wearing them all year round as long as you don't remove them yourself. If you remove or change them you'll need to wait until next time to get them back. I was planning on doing this at the end of Christmas but decided to run it by some people first.

But this doesn't matter until next Halloween I hear you cry. Well January 12th - 13th will see all Halloween outfits activated and January 19th - 20th will see all Christmas outfits activated. So you can pick and choose any outfits you want to keep for the rest of the year then, also to celebrate these mini holidays both week ends will be Double XP!

We have some more updates coming to the Hunted Cow account system soon, namely the ability to secure your account with a Google Authenticator if you wish for extra security. Also Steven is working on some new stuff for the game.

Results for the last 3 months of warfare are in, 2nd and 3rd place were close!

Map will switch over tonight at midnight (server time) the next map will be the desert map only I'll be leaving HQ movement on to make it more interesting. Starting positions will be standard and it doesn't really matter which of the 4 sections you start in as they're all the same. We may drop it in to WTF Mode an hour or two before the switch.

Turns out the world didn't end and neither did my Christmas Sale. Seems silly to cut it short now just because I got the finishing date a day off. The platinum should be added automatically tonight at midnight. Thought I coded it to finish at the beginning of the 21st, guess I actually coded it to finish at the end.

The new platinum boosts will go live on the morning of January 1st, the new Warfare map will go live that evening at midnight. More information on the next warfare map will be posted on the week leading up to it when I'm back in the office. Merry Christmas from everyone at Hunted Cow Studios!
