Been really busy recently with real life so work kind of stopped. For those of you who think I've abandoned this game to work on Vortex, binime has disappeared so work on that project has slowed for the moment. Work here and there should start up again properly next week.

Easter items are now up in Joe's Merchandise. Also bcfcespley may add some outfit items during the next week for Easter if you ask him nicely.

I've been observing some gangs tactics this season in the wasteland and feel I should point out a quite obvious fact. Although it may seem wise to cover your land in metal refineries, each takes 25 power to stay online. So if you don't have power stations they'll be staying offline.

Although a metal refinery that is offline may slow an enemy advance, it does not generate metal nor does it add anything to your gangs score. Your structures must be online to count for anything. So the gang that gets all their structures online will be the one with the highest score.

So yeah, isn't April fools fun! The database has had no problems since we moved to this host and hasn't lost a thing and the joke only effected those of level 15 or higher. The results for the previous 4 month period are shown below, the trophy will be up as soon as I finish drawing it.

I know April 1st jokes officially end at midday, but as I think it's quite fun I'll be extending the sex change thing until midnight tonight so everyone gets to see it. After that your outfit, outfit items and character sex will go back to exactly how they were this morning. Have fun!

The new map is finished, it is a little plain but that is a combination of the huge amount of open building space it has and the fact it is a desert. I've kept the layout matching the tactical overview provided a few days ago exactly.

Some people have expressed interest in why 4 sides of the hive have different terrain, apart from the obvious fact it adds more variety you must understand that the hive is the size of a US state and there are spaces between each of the 4 quadrants.

The south-west is the sewage outlet for the hive so is polluted, the south-east sorrounds an active volcano, the north-east is in the arctic circle so is frozen over and the north-west is also in the arctic circle but is subject to a huge hole burnt in the o-zone layer from the hives polution.

The new map goes live at midnight tonight and will remain in play for 3 months after which we will be going back to the south-west possibly with some extra changes.
