The Voluntary Devs and Voluntary Helpers have made the difficult decision to temporarily freeze the Warfare system in order to address excessive lag we've been observing the past 12 hours. The lag has been identified as an issue that is beyond the control of the Voluntary helpers and Voluntary Devs, and we have informed Zorg to look into the matter.

We understand that the Warfare system is a popular and important feature for many players, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we believe that taking the time to properly address the lag issue will ultimately lead to a better overall experience for all players. During this time no side shall gain any metal therefore no one gains or loses points during the downtime. The map will essentially be frozen.

We are hopeful that Zorg will be able to quickly isolate the cause of the lag and push out a fix. In the meantime, we ask for your patience and understanding as we work to improve the system. We will continue to keep everyone updated on the progress of the fix and will work as quickly as possible to bring the Warfare system back online.

Wanted to take this time to say a special thanks to all the Voluntary Helpers, Developers and Artists who've been working hard this year to keep Legacy moderated and updated. People regularly ask me how things are going, so I'll take this time to give a brief update.

The company is doing great, the last 2 games launched (Operation: New Earth and Warhammer: Chaos and Conquest) have been very successful and will continue to fund us in to the future. Next year they'll be starting work on a third, as yet unannounced, project. The employee count is now up to about 30 and despite almost all of us working from home the company is in a good place for the future. Due to this there is zero pressure on Legacy to make a profit / fund itself, which is good for everyone!

I've re-enabled the Christmas Cracker Platinum sale on the store and this year it should hopefully end in January, unlike last year!

Happy anniversary and sorry for the slight delay, you can now claim your anniversary boxes on the main page. This year will mark the first year we've not given out some sort of hat as a reward for the anniversary box, instead you'll get some baby toys!

I think I briefly mentioned on Discord but on April 10th my baby daughter was born, so with working from home and a new born baby in the house it's been quite busy.

Good news for our company though, everyone bored at home playing more computer games than ever. Anyway, happy 15th anniversary!
