Hello Legacy

September is wrapping up and it's coming close to that spooky time of year again that everyone loves. We usually get things rolling in October but this year we thought we'd get a head start on some of the celebration and give everyone some extra time for Event NPC Hunting and Candy Eating fun.

There will be plenty of events to participate in so keep a look out in the forums so that you don't miss out. There may be some schedules that pop up for special planned events . I'll also have a Halloween WW sign up live later tonight in the games forum.

Another year, another anniversary for Legacy. This year, Legacy turns 18! So Happy Birthday to Legacy!

And of course it wouldn't be a Legacy Anniversary without a few things being mentioned.

-There will be a new banner and a couple items that are a little different than the norm.
-Double Gains week (yes, week). Soon after this blog is posted, you will see the timer for when it begins on your home screen. It will start at 00:01 GMT-0500 (or 05:01 GMT+0000) May 6 and last until the same time May 13.
-sumwish plans on hosting a Gambler's Hotel type event during this time, so keep an eye out in the Games Room for a chance to collect some big winnings

This is a little sudden, I realize. Work has been keeping a majority of my time and attention.

But again, Happy 18th Anniversary!

Halloween is in full swing. Be sure to check in this weekend for some visitors in the WL As we get closer to the 31st you may see more paranormal activity in the WL.

Been roughly a month now, since last time I did one of these.

Just to keep you posted what's going on.

First things first, I'll bring a smaller update to /alert, approximately it'll get pushed some time next week. The new command is, '/alert objective', different from the other commands 'objective' accepts and additional subcommand, which can be one any one of the following: push, attack or defend. Default one is 'push'
The coordinates part can still be optionally ommitted. for example '/alert 9,9 objective push' or just '/alert objective defend'

Now that is out of the way, it's now time for some shameless promotions, if you don't like promotions, you can stop reading now.

MattG2 has some kind of official event/map competition going on in the main forum, I'm not quite sure how it works.

Secondly, I will also be hosting a non-legacy related quiz on discord. (Thread in Games Room)
I'm sorry in advance for those of you who doesn't use Discord, or don't want to, but seeing how it went last legcon I'm unsure if the server capacity of legacy can handle it ingame, also why this one can't be official.
The topic of the quiz is: Denmark.

The winner will take home whatever credits I have that exceeds 900.000c at the end, which currently stand at 8,385c + entry fees.
