Posting this blog from a web-cafe in Malaga, Spain. All the keys are in different places which is quite annoying, I'll be back in England in just over a days time. I've got some money set aside that I'm going to throw in to advertising. So make sure all the gang's guides are ready for new players.

Attack system will be up this coming week on the development server for testing, if all goes well.

Blue Pill's have been added to the gang warfare rewards shop. So now I have two questions to ask you guys, one you can answer in blog comments the other is being put up as a new vote that you can find on the main page. I'll be reading all the comments and making a decision in about a weeks time.

The first question for the blog comments is do you think 100 extra warfare points is too much for Blue Pill's. It costs you 500 warfare points to heal 25% exposure in the hospital, and it costs you 600 to heal it with a Blue Pill. Obviously you're paying for the advantage of only healing 25% (if you have more) and being able to do so out in the wasteland without leaving.

Second question that will go up as a vote is, do you want Blue Pill's to be tradeable. Right now you purchase them with zero trades. My personal opinion is they should be tradeable but I may be wrong.

Exposure can now be removed in all the hospitals for 20 warfare points per percentage. This price will be reviewed in a few weeks, although I doubt it will be dropped by much as this was around the price agreed up on in the Elders forum. The new map is now in full swing, results for the last 3 months are shown below.

Warfare: July - September 2010
1: Blade of Dawn - 2,099,950 points
2: Dark Flame - 1,362,260 points
3: Chapter - 888,560 points
4: Outcasts - 786,850 points

The 'Blue Pill' will be available for purchase soon in exchange for 600 warfare points it will remove 25% exposure. The extra price is because these can be used without returning to the hive. They will be sold with 0 trades and yes their chosen name is a Matrix joke!

I've burnt out on Legacy a bit recently but I challenge any of you to work on the same project for over 5 years and not burn out. I've spoken to a few people and this is where I'm at right now. I'm going to try to revive Legacy, all my changes are based on player feedback and I'm done toying around with ideas in my head I'm just going to do them.

The attack system is being remade as I've said many times, it will have the option to be a 1 click attack system in the hive and will all be processed via AJAX. This is a huge task as the attack scripting is the most complicated code the game has, I'm working through it but it takes time.

All items will then be reviewed, a lot will be nerfed, some will be buffed, some may even be removed completely to try and make every item in the game useful in some way. The white shop items will be removed and handed out freely to players as they level, experience required from level 1-80 will be increased slightly to balance this change.

Spectral items are being removed and remade in to upgraded Avatar items. New hunting NPCs and items will be added, a combination of new items, crystals and credits will be required to upgrade the current Avatar items in to Spectral items. So start saving if you haven't already!

The level cap is being removed, levels beyond level 80 will not grant stat points or anything but vanity rewards. The new levels will take increasingly huge amounts of experience to traverse for those with the desire to do so.

These changes will begin today, all warfare point rewards apart from the Phase Shifter have been removed and merged in to hunting drops. The hospitals will soon begin healing exposure in exchange for warfare points and the gang shop will soon begin selling equivalent items.

This is a last attempt and if this fails, I'm done with Legacy. The game will get nothing but bug fixes and I'll be starting on a new project from scratch.
