First and foremost, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays all!

Don't forget to get your goodies from the Advent Calendar on the Main Page underneath your gang news.

Onto something you will be more interested in though.

First, I think it has been long enough and we need to have another Werewolves game. This one will most likely be hosted in the in game forums. But at the same time, the offsite forums are an option. I'll be asking from time to time and during the signup thread which people would prefer.

Please note the signup thread is not open yet as the game will be after the holidays. So I'm waiting in the hopes that people will remember it at that time.

And secondly, like I mentioned at one point, we will be having a double gains weekend after the holidays. I am currently planning for the evening of the 4th of January until the morning of the 8th. Why the odd start time? Because I go to bed and wake up at horrible times. So I figure a few extra hours will be fine.

Why the large heads up? Because platinum buffs, book buffs, and boon shop boosts do not stack with double gains. So whatever you're using should wear off by then. So during this time, please refrain from using books with boosts and purchasing various boosts that are effected by double gains.

As a reminder, Double Gains include:
-Double energy per hour (400/hour)
-Double credit payout from jobs
-Double WFP gain
-Double item experience (from attacking, defending, warfare points, and even honing)

Hello everyone, here are the in depth patch notes for the latest update.

Bug Fixes:
1) Clicking character menu in wasteland goes to Info -> Character now.
2) Radioactive Efficiency III now properly gives 4x wfps bonus instead of the 2x bonus it was giving previously.
3) Fixed a bug where players who didn't have the Assassin ability learned would have a 5% steeper hunting cost than intended.
4) Fixed a bug where players who didn't have the Bonus Points ability learned would earn 10% more hunting points than intended.
5) Added correct hunting point rewards to special NPCs on their information pages, taking into account the Bonus Points ability modifier.
6) Hid the Shadow Facility power bar (not really a bug but it was kind of annoying to look at)

Additions:
1) New button at Shadow Facility -> Transfer page labelled "Calculate Excess" that automatically calculates the amount of excess item xp you can transfer without going down to the previous item level.
2) Christmas Themed job in Job Center. Try it out for a hefty payout and extra item drops.
3) Boon Ship grand opening, found in Sector 2. The sector links and overlay have been adjusted to make room. The shop sells a few items and buffs for now, but can be easily expanded upon in the future using a staff/dev-only editor I created.

There is a new vote up for a little feedback on the Scavenger ability. Be sure to vote. A thread will most likely be created in the Main Forum for a discussion on it.

I would also like to remind everyone of a few things.

1) I am the Lead Volunteer Helper (VH). Meaning any actions that my VH take that you feel are unjust or unwarranted should be reported directly to me via in game messages. Side chat is not the place to air out your grievances against them as that is against the HCS ToS as Staff Harassment and it will be handled as such.

2) Mods and Guides are lead by the Community Admins. In this case, Wolf and Neltharion. Anything that goes on with Mods or Guides goes to Wolf or Neltharion before me. If the person in question feels they were treated unfairly, they can just as easily come to me and ask me to look into something.

3) The conduct on side chat is progressively getting worse. This is due to things not being reported. My VH and myself cannot be on 24/7. That is why all 5 of us have an "open message box" type of policy. We have no problems handling a situation that is deemed inappropriate, whether it be abuse, harassment, or just flat out toxic behavior.

Please keep these things in mind for in the future.

Here are the list of changes that came along with latest game update:

Misc Changes:

1) Added WL Re-entry time as a variable that staff can edit for events.
2) Added energy cost as an editable option for any hunting NPCs, not just event ones. Disclaimer about energy cost is auto written to NPC's description on the hunting page if it takes more than 5 energy.
3) Crafting % listed on the Information page now has a z-index so that the XP bar doesn't cover up the number for Firefox users.
4) Clicking the Character tab goes to Information -> Character now.
5) Added a new option to change where clicking on your character's Energy leads to, either Job Center or Observatory.
6) Edited VH and Guide descriptions on the staff list page as they were dated.

Gameplay Changes:

1) Changed the way learning crafting recipes is done. Using a blueprint that yields a recipe you already know will write that recipe to the blueprint's description. You can then trade or sell the blueprint to other players who haven't learned the recipe on it, so they can bypass the random lottery if they choose.

2) Added an Item Data field on the Market Search page. You can use this to search for blueprints containing recipe data or targeting modules containing an item location.
